Pakistan, June 30 -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has announced that he will send two local youths, who heroically saved tourists during a recent flood in Swat, on an Umrah pilgrimage. He also said he would recommend them for a civil award to the Prime Minister in recognition of their bravery and humanitarian spirit.
The two young men, Mohammad Hilal Khan and Ismat Ali, met with the governor to receive his appreciation for their courageous act. Governor Kundi presented them with shields of honor praising their bravery and selfless service in saving the lives of stranded tourists.
