Pakistan, July 4 -- Brad Pitt has finally shared the reason why Tom Cruise stepped away from starring in the 2019 hit Ford v Ferrari, despite both actors initially being attached to the project. The film, which was eventually led by Christian Bale and Matt Damon, went on to become a major box office and critical success.
In an interview with The National, Pitt revealed that about a decade before the final version was made, he and Cruise were in talks to play the lead roles. Pitt was set to portray British racing legend Ken Miles, while Cruise would take on the role of American car designer Carroll Shelby.
