MUMBAI, June 28 -- Indian actress and model Shefali Jariwala, famously known as the "Kaanta Laga Girl," has died at the age of 42. She reportedly suffered a sudden cardiac arrest late Friday night. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, and others rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri. However, doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Hospital officials confirmed that Shefali had already passed away before reaching the facility. Her body was later sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination. While initial reports suggest cardiac arrest, an official medical confirmation is still pending. Her family has not yet released a formal statement.
