An explosion at a girls' primary school in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Lakki Marwat district partially damaged the building, though no casualties were reported, police said on Sunday. District Police Officer (DPO) Nazeer Khan the media: "The incident took place late Saturday night when an explosion occurred at a girl's primary school in the Wanda Zahid Gul area, situated within the jurisdiction of Daddiwala Police Station." He said that due to the explosion, carried out through an improvised explosive device (IED), the school's building was partially damaged.
