Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited flood-affected areas in Kasur and praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her response efforts. During the visit, Bilawal distributed food packages at Ganda Singh Wala border and met with flood victims and farmers.
Speaking to the media, Bilawal said the destruction in the flood-hit regions was severe. He acknowledged that Maryam Nawaz and her team were working very hard. However, he stressed that the Punjab government could not handle the disaster alone. "The federal government must step in and support," he added.
