Pakistan, Nov. 2 -- American singer-songwriter Benson Boone cancelled his concert in Birmingham, England, just an hour before showtime on Saturday, citing illness.

In a heartfelt statement shared on Instagram, the Beautiful Things singer apologised to his fans, explaining that his throat condition had worsened despite his efforts to recover. "I have tried everything I can to revive my voice, but I cannot give you the show I'd like to be able to give you with the condition of my throat right now," he wrote.

Boone added that his team was already working to find a new date for the rescheduled show. "This is genuinely the crappiest feeling. I am so sorry. I promise you I will do everything in my power to make it up to you," he said.
