Pakistan, May 19 -- Recent media reports indicating that India might skip both the Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup and the Men's Asia Cup 2025 have been denied by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In a statement issued on Monday, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia clarified that no such decision has been made and rejected the claims as unfounded.

Media sources since this morning have stated that the BCCI has chosen not to compete in the Asia Cup and Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup, which are both run by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). "These rumours are completely unfounded," Saikia told ANI.
