Pakistan, Jan. 22 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that its team will not travel to India for the T20 World Cup. The decision comes amid ongoing security concerns and unresolved issues with the Indian authorities. Officials said the board's position will not change.
Bangladesh Sports Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul met with players before announcing the decision. He said the team still wants to play the World Cup, but only if their safety can be guaranteed. He added that the Indian government made no serious effort to address Bangladesh's concerns.
