Pakistan, Oct. 23 -- A special court in Bangladesh is set to deliver its verdict on November 13 in the crimes against humanity case against ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The decision follows a nearly five-month-long trial in Dhaka, which concluded on Thursday. Hasina, 78, has refused to return from India to face charges that accuse her of ordering a deadly crackdown on a student-led uprising last year.

During the proceedings, prosecutors alleged that Hasina's orders led to the deaths of more than 1,400 people between July and August 2024.
