Pakistan, July 2 -- The Balochistan government has suspended eight District Health Officers (DHOs) due to ongoing poor performance, negligence, and serious disruption of health services. This decision follows complaints about inadequate medical care and lack of proper management in several districts.
A notification from the provincial Health Department named DHOs from Chagai, Kachhi, Jhal Magsi, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Sibi, Dera Bugti, and Qila Abdullah as those removed from their posts. These districts reportedly faced significant issues such as shortage of medicines, lack of staff supervision, and delays in healthcare project execution.
