Quetta, Jan. 24 -- Balochistan faced severe cold as temperatures plunged to minus 12degC, freezing water supplies and disrupting daily life. Highways were blocked, and tourist travel was restricted across northern and border regions. Sub-zero conditions have created widespread difficulties for residents.

Despite snowfall stopping in many areas, icy Siberian winds continue to grip the province. Cities including Quetta, Kalat, Chaman, and Ziarat saw household water pipelines freeze, causing drinking water shortages. Ponds, roads, and open areas turned into ice, affecting mobility and local activities.
