Pakistan, June 16 -- QUETTA - Balochistan will present its budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 on Tuesday, with the total volume expected to exceed Rs1 trillion. The upcoming budget is likely to be surplus once again, showing the province's commitment to financial discipline.
According to officials, Balochistan will receive Rs743 billion from federal revenues under the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award. This funding will come through divisible pool taxes and direct resource transfers, particularly from gas. Compared to the current year, this marks an increase of Rs70 billion in federal support.
