QUETTA, Jan. 24 -- Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reiterated that the province's mineral resources belong collectively to its people and vowed to take strict action against illegal mining activities.

Speaking at a press briefing, CM Bugti said that unlawful extraction of minerals was causing significant financial losses to both the national and provincial exchequers, while also undermining the rule of law. "Illegal mining not only deprives the province of its true revenue potential but also denies the people their rightful share of wealth," he said.
