Pakistan, June 23 -- Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti held an urgent meeting on Sunday to address food and fuel shortages reported in districts near the Iran border. The shortages followed rising tensions from the Iran-Israel conflict.

During the meeting, CM Bugti reviewed the current supply situation, security status, and arrangements for the safe return of pilgrims and students stranded in Iran. Officials updated him on ongoing management efforts and future plans.

While some officials denied any food shortage, reports from residents suggested supply disruptions. In response, the chief minister ordered departments to guarantee continuous food and fuel supplies and to seek alternative sources for electricity and LPG.
