Pakistan, Jan. 13 -- Automobile sales in Pakistan surged by 46 per cent during the first half of the current fiscal year (FY26), reaching 88,322 units compared to 60,675 units in the same period of FY25, despite a slowdown in December, industry data showed.

December sales of cars, light commercial vehicles (LCVs), pickups, and vans stood at 13,280 units, marking a 35 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase but a 14 per cent month-on-month (MoM) decline.
