Pakistan, July 14 -- Australia has launched its biggest-ever war exercise, Talisman Sabre 2025, bringing together more than 35,000 troops from 19 countries for a three-week-long series of coordinated military activities. The massive drills are taking place across Queensland's Shoalwater Bay and, for the first time, in Papua New Guinea, reflecting Australia's growing defense partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region.
The live-fire portion of the exercise included a major milestone for the Australian Army as it successfully launched missiles from the U.S.-made High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS).
