Australia has named a 14-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against New Zealand in Mount Maunganui, with allrounder Marcus Stoinis making a notable comeback to the national team.
Stoinis retired from ODIs earlier this year and has been without a central or state contract for the past 12 months. He last represented Australia in late 2024, bringing experience and stability to the middle order.
The squad also welcomes back Mitchell Owen, who missed previous games against South Africa due to a concussion, and Matthew Short, who has fully recovered from a side strain sustained during training in Jamaica earlier this year.
