Pakistan, June 17 -- Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has hinted at releasing a new song days after his split from showbiz starlet Merub Ali.

The two took the Internet by storm on June 12 when they announced their breakup after three years of engagement.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Asim Azhar announced that he and his actor-model fiancee Merub Ali have decided to end their years-long relationship.

"After a great deal of thought and reflection, Merub & l, have chosen to move forward on separate paths peacefully & mutually," he wrote in his post.

While the 'Sinf-e-Aahan' actor did not release any official statement on the split, she later shared some stunning behind-the-scenes pictures from what seems like a recent modelling gig.
