The Pakistan Army continued massive rescue operations across flood-hit areas as rivers overflowed, submerging villages and damaging infrastructure. DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif confirmed that two soldiers embraced martyrdom and two others sustained injuries while saving lives.
