Pakistan, Feb. 7 -- Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran is ready for a "reassuring agreement" on uranium enrichment. He stressed that zero enrichment is not negotiable. Araghchi called negotiations the only way to resolve the nuclear issue and described talks with Washington as a "good start."

He emphasized that Iran's missile program is not subject to negotiation now or in the future. Araghchi called it a "defensive matter" and said Iran would respond if attacked. He clarified that Iran does not target neighboring countries but could strike US bases in the region.
