Pakistan, July 9 -- Apple is reportedly in talks to secure the US broadcasting rights for Formula 1, aiming to begin coverage from 2026, according to the Financial Times. This move follows the massive success of F1: The Movie, which earned $293 million at the global box office, becoming Apple's biggest theatrical hit to date.

Currently, ESPN-owned by Disney-holds the Formula 1 rights in the United States. However, Apple appears ready to challenge the network as ESPN's exclusive negotiation window ends soon. Insiders familiar with the matter say Apple is preparing a serious bid to enter the competitive sports streaming space.
