Pakistan, July 2 -- An American woman who had come to Pakistan to marry his Facebook friend in Usherai Darra here, has embraced Islam and married Sajid Khan, son of Anwar Zaib, a resident of Sadiqa Banda in the jurisdiction of the Gandigar Police Station. The woman, originally from the US state of Chicago, traveled to Pakistan to marry Sajid Khan, a young man from the Upper Dir district. Their relationship began through Facebook, and eventually led to marriage. After converting to Islam, the woman adopted the Islamic name Zulekha. She is currently in Pakistan on a 90-day visa and will remain in the country for the duration of her visa stay. Authorities have confirmed that further monitoring of the case is ongoing.
