Pakistan, June 24 -- Authorities in Gujarat, India, have identified 259 out of 260 victims from the recent Air India plane crash near Ahmedabad. The tragic accident occurred on June 12 when the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner lost height shortly after takeoff and crashed into a medical college hostel.
Among the 242 people on board, only one survived. The crash also killed 19 people on the ground. Officials remain cautious as the crash site is still being cleared, and they have not yet declared the final death toll.
