Pakistan, July 28 -- Chinese tech giant Alibaba has officially stepped into the smart wearables market with the launch of its first AI-powered smart glasses. Named Quark AI Glasses, the new device is powered by Alibaba's own Qwen large language model and its intelligent assistant, Quark. The glasses are expected to be available in China by the end of 2025, marking Alibaba's bold move into a space currently dominated by Meta and other rivals.

With this launch, Alibaba directly challenges Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses and domestic competitor Xiaomi, which introduced AI glasses earlier this year.
