Pakistan, July 7 -- Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli has officially begun talks with Lionel Messi's representatives, aiming to bring the Argentine superstar to the Saudi Pro League once his Inter Miami contract ends in December. The 38-year-old had earlier turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia when he left Paris Saint-Germain in 2023.

Despite that rejection, Saudi interest in Messi has remained strong. According to French outlet L'Equipe, Al-Ahli-fresh off winning the Asian Champions League-are now renewing their efforts to secure the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner.
