Pakistan, Oct. 21 -- Afghan Defense Minister Mullah Yaqoob has rejected claims of India's involvement in recent tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan. In an interview with Arab media, he clarified that Afghanistan has no policy of allowing its land to be used against any country. He said such accusations are baseless and not in line with Afghanistan's national interests.

Mullah Yaqoob emphasized that Afghanistan and Pakistan are neighboring countries. He added that both nations should maintain ties based on mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. According to him, ongoing conflict helps no one and only creates further instability in the region. He urged both sides to avoid escalating tensions.
