Pakistan, July 1 -- A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck Zhob district and surrounding areas of Balochistan Monday. According to the Seismological Center, the quake originated 20 kilometers deep with its epicenter located southeast of Zhob, private news channels reported.
Residents rushed out of homes and buildings as tremors were felt. No casualties or property damage have been reported so far.
Authorities have advised the public to remain calm and avoid panic, assuring that there is no cause for immediate concern.
