Pakistan, June 17 -- A 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck the Pishin area of Balochistan, causing panic among local residents. According to the seismic center, the quake's epicenter was 21 kilometers southeast of Pishin, with a depth of 12 kilometers.
Although no immediate reports of casualties or property damage have emerged, the tremors frightened many people. Some residents rushed out of their homes and began reciting religious verses to seek calm.
Yesterday, Karachi also experienced mild earthquakes in several areas. The seismic center recorded two quakes with magnitudes of 2.5 and 2.6, both originating around 40 kilometers underground near DHA City.
