Pakistan, Aug. 7 -- The federal government has approved the recruitment of 3,229 new constables for the upgraded Federal Constabulary to boost national security efforts across Pakistan. This move follows a recent presidential ordinance that officially transformed the Frontier Constabulary into a centralized federal force. The decision aims to modernize law enforcement and ensure better coverage across all provinces and regions of the country.

To maintain fair representation, the recruitment will follow a quota system across different areas. Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will each receive a 20% share, which means 646 constables from each province.
