Pakistan, Oct. 24 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of petitions challenging the 26th Constitutional Amendment till November 10. The case was heard by an eight-member constitutional bench headed by Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan.

The bench comprised on Justice Jamal Mandokhail, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Musarrat Hilali, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Shahid Bilal Hasan.

During the proceedings, advocates Uzair Bhandari and Shahid Jameel presented their arguments. The court deferred Shahid Jameel's remaining submissions to a later date.
