Pakistan, June 17 -- ISLAMABAD - As part of ongoing repatriation efforts, 268 Pakistani pilgrims have returned safely from Iraq through special flights arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, two flights successfully landed in Karachi and Islamabad, bringing back the pilgrims who were in Iraq for religious purposes. The repatriation is part of a broader plan to ensure all Pakistanis return home safely amid regional unrest.

The ministry is actively working with Iraqi Airways and relevant Iraqi authorities to facilitate the return of the remaining pilgrims. Efforts are being made to ensure the process remains smooth, timely, and well-coordinated.
