Pakistan, July 9 -- GAZA CITY - At least 20 people, including six children, were killed in two Israeli air strikes in Gaza overnight, according to the Gaza Civil Defence . The strikes hit civilian areas already sheltering displaced families, deepening the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn territory.

spokesman Mahmud Bassal confirmed that the first strike targeted a tent shelter in Khan Yunis, located in southern Gaza, just after midnight local time. The second airstrike struck a displacement camp in northern Gaza shortly afterward.
