Pakistan, July 23 -- At least 13 people, including nine children, died in rain-related incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) over the last 48 hours. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported that three others were injured during heavy monsoon rains. These rains, typical between June and September, have caused flash floods and damage in many parts of KP and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Swat district suffered the most casualties, with six children and one woman killed by flash floods and a house collapse.
