Pakistan, July 21 -- The Punjab Police have stepped up anti-narcotics operations across the province, and the law-enforcement teams carried out 233 targeted raids on suspected drug dealers' hideouts in the last 24 hours.
According to a spokesperson, the operations resulted in the arrest of 126 individuals involved in drug trafficking, with FIRs registered against all suspects.
During the crackdown, police seized 53 kilograms of charas, 11 kilograms of heroin, 6 kilograms of ice (methamphetamine), and 1,277 litres of liquor from the accused.
