Pakistan, June 24 -- SOUTH WAZIRISTAN - Two Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom while 11 terrorists were killed during a major intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan on Tuesday, the military's media wing ISPR confirmed.
According to ISPR, the operation targeted terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Khwarij, a group Pakistan links to Indian state sponsorship. Troops launched the raid after receiving confirmed intelligence reports of militant presence in the area. In the ensuing gun battle, security forces successfully neutralized 11 terrorists and injured seven others.
