Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- Gaza's civil defence reported that 11 people were killed on Friday due to Israeli air strikes and gunfire, including two individuals near an aid distribution centre. Spokesman Mahmud Bassal said five were killed in an air strike near Khan Yunis, and four others died in a separate strike targeting a vehicle in Deir el-Balah, central Gaza.
Two more civilians lost their lives and over 70 others were injured while waiting for food near a distribution site operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), located between Khan Yunis and Rafah. These sites have become daily gathering points for thousands in desperate need of aid. However, the Israeli military did not immediately respond to these reports.
