Pakistan, July 14 -- At least 104 people have lost their lives across Pakistan due to rain-related incidents since the onset of the monsoon season on June 26, according to a situation report issued by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
Six people were reported dead and 15 others injured in various rain-related accidents in the past 24 hours, the NDMA said.
In Peshawar, flash floods swept away two children. Meanwhile, a child was injured after being struck by lightning in Ali Masjid and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The rains, accompanied by strong winds, began in Khyber, Nowshera, and Peshawar districts, with heavy showers reported in Landi Kotal, Jamrud, Bara, and surrounding areas.
