Pakistan, July 16 -- Fans of The Last of Us will have to wait much longer for season three, as HBO has confirmed the new season won't be released until 2027. This announcement was made by HBO and Max content chairman Casey Bloys during an interview with Variety.
Bloys explained that series creator Craig Mazin is still finalizing plans for the upcoming season. It remains undecided whether the story will wrap up in one long season or be split into two more seasons. Either way, the delay is certain.
