Pakistan, June 30 -- SEOUL - Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has revealed that real-life tech tycoon Elon Musk partly inspired the series' powerful and mysterious VIP villains.

While speaking with Times, Hwang explained how the masked VIPs-wealthy figures who bet on deadly games for amusement-mirror the growing influence and visibility of billionaire elites in today's world.

He mentioned, "Elon Musk is everywhere these days. He runs massive tech firms and is constantly in the public eye." Hwang added that after writing Season 3, he realized that some VIPs closely resembled Musk in both style and power.
