Islamabad, July 9 -- The Government of Pakistan has announced that this year's Independence Day (August 14, 2025) will be celebrated under the theme "Ma'arka-e-Haq" (The Battle for Truth) - symbolizing the nation's ongoing commitment to truth, justice, resilience, and unity in the face of internal and external challenges.
The decision was taken during a high-level consultative meeting chaired by Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal, in Islamabad. The session was held on the special directive of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who has emphasized celebrating Independence Day with full national spirit, inclusion, and pride.
