Pakistan, July 7 -- Pakistani cinema reached a new milestone as films Deemak and Nayab bagged top honors at the prestigious SCO Film Festival 2025, held in Yangzhou, China. This international recognition marks a proud moment for the country's film industry, which is steadily gaining global attention for both quality and creativity.

Deemak, directed by Rafay Rashdi, won the Best Editing Award. The psychological horror film has already broken records at the Pakistani box office, becoming one of the most successful horror titles in the country's history.
