Pakistan, July 28 -- The 'Apni Chhat Apna Ghar' housing initiative continues to make significant progress, with over 8,000 homes fully completed across Pakistan. Secretary Housing, Nooralamin Mengal, revealed that more than 35,000 families have now received the second installment of financial assistance to continue constructing their homes.

The government has set an ambitious target of building over 100,000 affordable houses annually under this flagship program to help reduce the country's housing shortage and improve living conditions for low and middle-income families.
