Pakistan, July 29 -- Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of a tragic murder of a girl in Kandiyaro due to her love marriage. He has directed the Inspector General of Police and the Chief Secretary to submit a detailed report. The CM condemned the killing in the name of customs and beliefs as utterly unacceptable. He ordered the immediate arrest of the perpetrators and strict legal action against them. Shah made it clear that those delivering verdicts under the name of jirga (tribal council) are also criminals. He stated that killings of women in the name of honour would never be tolerated.
