ZANZIBAR, Feb. 4 -- NON-COMMUNICABLE diseases (NCDs) such as high blood pressure and diabetes continue to pose a growing public health challenge across Tanzania, accounting for nearly 34 percent of chronic illnesses nationwide.
This condition often goes undetected for long periods, particularly in communities with limited access to regular medical check-ups, increasing the risk of serious and long-term health complications.
