DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 29 -- YOUNG Africans SC Assistant Coach Patrick Mabedi has lauded his teams resilience following a hard-fought 3–1 victory over Dodoma Jiji, while insisting there is still room for improvement, particularly in defence and midfield despite the champions tightening their grip on top spot.
Speaking after the match at the Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) Complex in Dar es Salaam, Mabedi admitted the encounter was far from straightforward, especially in the opening half.
“The match against Dodoma Jiji was very tough, particularly in the first half. We created many chances and won the game, but we did not use our opportunities well. These are areas we must correct in training,” Mabedi said.
