DAR ES SALAAM, July 3 -- TANZANIAN-OWNED logistics firm Xerin Group has launched a dedicated air cargo charter service between Dar es Salaam and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The companys Managing Director, Hussein Jamal, said yesterday during the launch that the new service is expected to significantly transform cross-border logistics and trade using a Boeing 737-800 with a capacity of 20 tonnes per trip.

“This new route marks a major transformation in the regional logistics sector, providing efficient, secure and timely solutions for cargo movement between East and Central Africa and the Gulf region,” said Mr Jamal.
