DODOMA, June 27 -- TANZANIA is set to host the 2025 World Travel Awards (WTA) Africa and Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony, a prestigious international event set for Saturday, June 28, in the city of Dar es Salaam.

The country will also be in the spotlight as it competes in 50 award categories.

The announcement was made by the Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr Pindi Chana, who described the upcoming ceremony as a landmark opportunity that reflects Tanzanias rising profile on the global tourism map.

“This event is a significant endorsement of Tanzanias position as a world-class travel destination,” said Dr. Chana.
