Yet, this transformation brings significant challenges: The pervasive spread of disinformation, misinformation and hate speech.

These threats jeopardise not only Africa but the entire global community.

Recognising this urgency, effective and broad-based digital literacy has been identified as the top strategic priority for Africas media councils, communications regulators, schools and other key stakeholders.
