Dar es Salaam, Feb. 20 -- DODOMA: VICE President Dr Philip Mpango has called for deeper economic cooperation between Tanzania and South Korea, urging increased trade and investment that will benefit both nations.
During a meeting with the South Korean Ambassador to Tanzania Ms Eunju Ahn at Chamwino State House in Dodoma, Dr Mpango emphasized the need for South Korean investors and business leaders to explore opportunities in Tanzania, particularly in manufacturing and industrial development.
He noted that processing raw materials locally would not only boost trade but also drive technology transfer and create more jobs for Tanzanians.
