Dar es Salaam, May 22 -- DAR ES SALAAM: VODACOM Tanzania Foundation and the Foundation for Civil Society (FCS) yesterday signed an agreement to mitigate the unemployment crisis in the country.

The two signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth 400m/- which will be valid for one year and aims at fostering sustainable development and empowering communities within the Civil Society Organisation (CSO).

Vodacom Foundations Director of External Affairs Ms Zuweina Farah said the initiative aims at leveraging technology and innovation for social impact.

“By working together, we can enhance learning outcomes, digital skills, and health infrastructure for the Tanzanians, “she said.
